At the farms, many of the old food and drink traditions - passed down through generations - are still upheld and developed. A large number of local food producers ensure that catering establishments and shops can offer exciting and award-winning products. Pike fish cakes, cured red deer sausages, elk fricadellen, blackcurrant products and apple juice to mention just some. This is also where the aquavit originates from, and Løten’s award-winning aquavit ice cream is a further development of this local tradition.
