The Hamar Region has a stable winter climate and lots of snow in winter. Hedmarksvidda is a mountain plateau with gentle features and immense vastness. In winter, the two major winter sports resorts in the region, Sjusjøen and Budor, can offer miles and miles of prepared ski trails.
